jacob mccoy burton | singer/songwriter portraits

I've been meaning to post this for a week!! I'm going to brag about a former student of mine. I'm also going to strongly, strongly encourage you to click on the following link right now and go buy Jacob McCoy Burton's album, Hold The Line, if you haven't done so already. It's an awesome album and something you need to hear. I'm so proud of Jacob. I've always felt that creating an album would be one of the hardest things to do and something that requires a substantial amount of courage. I'm also envious because I think the musical talent portion of my gray matter has been replaced with ADD. I can't rythmically clap without getting a little disoriented and I find myself audibly offending loved ones and neighbors in church when I sing. I was so excited to help with photos. These are some that we snagged at a barn in Claude, Texas. It's something that seemed fitting for an awesome for Jacob and those dandy tunes of his. Now that you've gone and gotten Jake's album, you should look at his pictures too. Phenomenal guy, phenomenal album. Thanks Jacob!!
